It is always difficult to say goodbye to someone who has touched the hearts of so many.

Though I never had the pleasure of physically meeting this Brother, I did have the pleasure of knowing him thanks to Cyberjamz and the internet in general. Not only was Big Cee one hell of a producer of some of the smoothest house music out there, but genuine with a good heart and trust this cat could make you smile and laugh even on your darkest of days. With that being said SHMC is proud to pay homage to our Brother in the life of Music Carl "Big Cee - CMuzik" Proctor may your legacy live on.... RIP and may the angels of House watch over you.....

The Label " Consortium Muzik " was originally founded by Big Cee Aka Carl Proctor (CEO) joined later By Olivier Glantschnig Aka Oli_G (PR manager).
After having a long experience of the Chicago House scene, Big Cee decided to create his own Label in an effort to bring HOUSE MUSIC back to its rightful roots of Soul Vocal productions, which is the Mission Statement of Consortium Muzik.
The Label made it's official Appearance May 2007 by releasing it's first Ep " Da Way It Should Be Done " featuring different producers and interprets such as Jalal Johnson, Carolyn Victorian, Andy Tamashi, Nina Simone and Donnel King.
Through this label, the actual CEO Big Cee, wanted to sign and promote Local and International Producers, offering them the possibility to follow freely their inspiration and interpretation of nowadays House Music.
If you do listen carefully to the tracks featured on Consortium Muzik you will hear and feel a different flavor of the so called " Common house ", using mostly Dry beats, Epured vocals.
The first Ep Was followed by the reinterpretation by Alan Smithee Of Natalie Cole's "Wish you ", which was followed By Harold Brandon’s “ Happiness “.
Since May 2007 some new Producers joined the Consortium Muzik Family such as Abicah Soul, Yotam Avni,Harold Brandon, Monte Carlo Method ( MCM ), David Brown, Miss Yvonne, Jaycee and recently Jovonn.
Consortium Muzik is trying to expand and make it's way in the house scene, it's available since mid-October on www.traxsource.com, but also on www.junodownload.com.
For the Moment Consortium Muzik is only releasing digitally but it will, in a near future,be also available on Vinyl.
